The Communion Rite in which we are fed the Body and Blood of Christ is the climax of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. The signs of a call to this most sacred ministry to assist the priests with Communion are: a desire to serve the community in this way and a willingness to commit oneself to a serving schedule. The person must be in good standing with the Church and approval of the pastor is required. Eucharistic ministers are trained by the Archdiocese Office of Worship and are commisioned for a period of three years by the Archdiocese. If you are interested in becoming a Eucharistic Minister, please contact the church office at 985-652-9100 or email [email protected]
