To be Christ to Everyone
To see Christ in Everyone
One of the primary aspects of Jesus' ministry was the forgiveness of sins and reconciliation between God and man. And Jesus, as the divine physician, frequently pointed out that sin is the real enemy that enslvaes us and the illness that truly plagues mankind. We see this for instance in the miracle of the healing of the paralytic. But we too suffer from this illness and are in need of a physician to save us. It is for that reason that Jesus handed on to the apostles the authority to forgive sins just after his resurrection saying, "Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you...Whose sins you forgive are forgiven them, and whose sins you retain are retained” (John 20:21-23). This ministry of reconciliation has likewise been passed down through the centuries through the bishops and priests in the Sacrament of Reconciliation also known as Confession. We invite you to partake of this great sacrament of God's mercy through one of our reguarly scheduled opportunities. If you are unable to come at one of the regularly scheduled times, Fr. David would also be very happy to meet with you one-on-one at a time that works for you.
