The ascent
St. Joan of Arc's Youth Group is called The Ascent, taking inspiration from Blessed Pier Georgio & our patron St. Joan of Arc, we seek to grow in holiness and reliance on God through prayer, service, and evangelization.
One of the ministries The Ascent is performing this season is the Hearts for the Helpless and the Homeless initiative. Feel free to bring the rectory ant items you'd like to donate to the bags we pack for parishioner to distribute to homeless members of our community. Item we collect include facial tissue, soap, wet wipes, shampoo/conditioner, combs, deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, washcloths, lotion, sunscreen, socks, etc.
We’ll also make cards to go with the bags, offering inspiring messages to the bag’s recipients. Feel free to donate art supplies or paper if you’d like to contribute to the card making. -
